Heroes
Special | 22m 47s | Video has closed captioning.
If you had met Cleto Rodriguez, Lucien Adams or Jose Lopez on the streets of San Antonio after WW II, you would never know they had been awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. They not only downplayed their heroism, but seldom talked about it. These men considered those who didn't come home from as the heroes and lived their lives to honor the fallen.
