Despite relative isolation and limited resources, Ozarks settlers created a variety of fabrics for themselves and for use in their homes. Some of these fabrics were simple homespun and utilitarian pieces. Others were elaborately patterned and painted to satisfy the human need for art and beauty. Jeanelle Ash from the Ralph Foster Museum explains the role of Textiles in a developing Ozarks culture.
