Special | 9m 45s | Video has closed captioning.
This video depicts the efforts of Idahoan Rifka Helton to preserve the thousands of photos that her father, "Red" Helton, took of the state in the 1950s and 60s when he was a professor at the University of Idaho. Rifka, a singer, set the photos to original songs and performs them in a piece she calls "My Father's Idaho." Some of the photos also hang in the Glenns Ferry Historical Museum.
