Why Assad sees an opening for dialogue with the U.S.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad sat down for an interview with PBS host and CBS News anchor Charlie Rose on Thursday in Damascus. Assad denied reports of chemical weapon use by his military and signaled openness to dialogue with the United States.
