Smartphone?
Try Smart Cup.
Ever wonder what you're drinking?
Used to be you had to look at those stats on the outside of a can.
But soon you'll be able to find them inside your very own Smart Cup.
And you'll still have the can.
Yeah.
We're the creators of the vessel.
The cup that automatically knows what's inside and helps you track exactly what and how much you consume.
Well, I've been working on this for seven years.
Seven years ago, iPhone had just came out.
There weren't even apps yet.
I wanted to put a computer into one of the most ubiquitous objects in the history the human race, which is the vessel.
Those glasses are incredible.
Oh, thanks, man.
This is an early vessel prototype that we have right here.
And we can pour anything in.
What are you thirsty for?
I like Fanta.
So I'm going to pour in right in here my Fanta in my vessel.
There you go.
Fanta Orange.
--You've got your work cut out for you though, because I knew it was a Fanta.
How does the technology recognize the liquid?
So we built the sensor internally at the company from the ground up.
And it analyzes what is inside on a molecular level.
What does that mean though?
It just-- say it a different way, I guess.
Oh.
Just for fun.
OK.
I don't know.
It just knows what we're drinking.
Yeah, it just knows exactly.
What about hot chocolate?
Does it know that?
Absolutely.
Great.
That's the lab.
Yeah.
It's all happening in this space.
What's happening?
You really can't tell me, eh?
How much does it cost?
So the pre-sale campaign right now, it's $99.
For the first month, we sold around $1 million in sales.
No $100 of-- Check the math on that, but you know.
$10,000.
Let's edit back.
$10,000.
Right.
I'm the head of health here at Mark One.
I did my medical training at Yale pre-med school.
Really?
Our job as a company is not to tell people what to do and what not to do, but to understand the relevance of what they're taking in so that they can make the right decision.
This is just the beginning of the product line.
Oh, what else is coming out other than the cup?
Well, I can't really tell you that right now.
Where are you going to manufacture everything?
Locally.
So locally, as in America.
Where though specifically?
In the states?
Oh, well we can't tell you exactly.
Plates?
So people know how much pudding they're having.
Bowls.
It's in the state of California.
Yeah, but where in California?
You can't say.
It's probably best not to.
Forks, knives, spoons.
You can't talk about the other products.
No.
But they're coming.
They're coming.
This is great.
Awesome.
And let me know how it goes.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
And if there are any other specifics you want to let me know, you know, email me.
