The Education Trust-Midwest released a report named, “Accountability for All,” that graded Michigan’s charter school authorizers. 20 percent of charter schools that opened between 2011 and 2014 have authorizers who scored a “D” or “F.” The Education Trust-Midwest says the poor performance by charter authorizers proves they aren’t being held accountable.
