New York City will begin issuing municipal ID cards to anyone who can show residency in the city starting in January. City Councilmember Daniel Dromm answers questions about the pros and cons of what he calls this “must-have accessory for all New Yorkers,” which will act as a form of identification as well as provide free, one-year access to some cultural institutions.
