Create artistic patchwork designs using tacks instead of stitches, plus barn boards and metal instead of fabric. That’s what designer, Nathan Winkler uses to create his rustic artwork at The Steel Quilt Company. Many of his traditional designs are patterned after the Underground Railroad series of quilts by Eleanor Burns. Nathan is promoting a quilt trail of his work on Lookout Mountain in AL.
