A Visual Artist for the Visually Impaired
Clip | 4m 16s
Hillsborough, NC artist, Sally Barker, re-creates world famous paints as small quilts. Where touching a masterpiece painting is forbidden, Ms. Barker demand her patron feel their way around her quilt. It gives the visually impaired the opportunity to enjoy a painting they'd, otherwise, have no way of sensing. Kelly McCullen reports.
