NYC-ARTS Profile: “Lost Kingdoms” at The Met Museum

Philippe de Montebello and curator John Guy talk about a landmark exhibition of breathtaking sculptures from the Lost Kingdoms of Early Southeast Asia. Devoted to the Hindu-Buddhist art in this area during the first millennium, the show is comprised of some 160 sculptures, including numerous National Treasures from Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and even a “first-ever” loan from Myanmar.
