On Tuesday, voters headed to the polls for midterm election primaries in North Carolina, Indiana and Ohio. Republican contenders backed by the Washington establishment, like Senate candidate Thom Tillis in North Carolina, and incumbents like House Speaker John Boehner, made a good showing.
