Tonight a House committee took up the General Fund budget. It would increase Medicaid funding by 70-million dollars and lawmakers say they’re looking for more money for the beleaguered prison system. Rep. Wayne Johnson of Ryland discusses House passage of his Alabama Taxpayer Audit Protection Act, which would protect people from being singled out because of their political affiliations.
