Ailyn Perez performs an aria from Charpentier's "Louise"

Ailyn Perez once again lends her lustrous voice, celebrated as 2012's Richard Tucker Award winner in that year's broadcast of the "Richard Tucker Opera Gala," to "Depuis le jour" from Gustave Charpentier's "Louise." The opera's exploration of free spirits and free love echo similar motifs in Puccini's "La boheme."
