ASU Regent’s Professor Alberto Rios has been named the state’s inaugural Poet Laureate. The appointment was made by Governor Jan Brewer’s office and the Arizona Commission on the Arts. As a journalist, she wrote about politicians and investigated true crime. Now, Arizonan Jana Bommersbach has turned her efforts to writing a children’s book.
