Local artist Laura Spalding Best will have her paintings on display at the Burton Barr Library in Phoenix through August 8. More than 3,000 rural superintendents, principals and teachers were asked in a survey what rural schools need to teach math and science by the Arizona Department of Education. Book editor Caroline Butler will talk about the book “Oral History of the Yavapai.”
