There are many animal rescue organizations throughout North Carolina whose mission is to find good homes for abandoned, abused, or neglected dogs and cats. But there's another segment of the animal population that has a similar need. Producer Katherine Johnson explains how one North Carolina non-profit is making a difference in the lives of some animals that need a special kind of home.
