Before David Attenborough left Zoologist Dian Fossey's camp in the Virunga National Park, he promised to help her in her efforts to save the mountain gorilla populations. He joined with other conservationists to create the Mountain Gorilla Fund. "Attenborough's Life Stories: Our Fragile Planet" premieres February 6, 2013 at 8/7c (check local listings).
