In Belmar, Sliver Lake has transformed into another reminder of Sandy's fury. During the storm, the lake overflowed but now it's nearly empty and replaced by mountains of mud. Rebuilding lakes and the boardwalks are such an intricate part of the Belmar community that repairing them in time for the summer is a priority.
