Best-selling crime novelist Patricia Cornwell is funding forensic training at the Cambridge Police Department. Seven instructors form the national Forensic Academy in Knoxville, TN are in town to provide the week-long training. The training includes 21 Cambridge police detectives, detectives from Harvard, MIT and Everett police departments.
