President Barack Obama won Virginia by just over 6% in 2008 and was the first Democrat to win the state since 1964. This year polls show President Obama and Governor Mitt Romney in very close race. Mona Iskander sat down with Dan Palazzolo, a professor of Political Science at the University of Richmond, to talk about what makes Virginia a unique battleground state.
