In this companion video to the Global Voices documentary, Town of Runners, producer Dan Demissie and director Jerry Rothwell describe the genesis of their film project which follows three children keen to follow in their heroes' footsteps, as they move from school track to national competition in an Ethiopian town that prides itself as a training ground for world-class long-distance runners.
