SEWING WITH NANCY

Nancy's Corner - Lorel Maple

  • Aired: 11/14/2010
  • 05:34
  • Rating: NR
Lorel Maple, vice president of the American Sewing Guild chapter in Madison Wis. explains the process her group used to dye silk scarves with natural dyes. Inspired by Larry Schmitt's no-pot dyeing technique, Lorel invited Larry to do a hands-on demonstration of dyeing basics for the guild. This fascinating project is one of the many creative endeavors that you can learn about in a Sewing Guild.
