  • Aired: 05/25/2011
  • 02:03
  • Rating: NR
Norman discovered epoxy in Europe after World War II and quickly began incorporating it in his work. This archival footage of the creation of a hawk sculpture in 1965 shows how he combined the ancient "lost wax" sculpture technique with his own inventive use of epoxy to bring about a new way of making art.
