Shoebox Memories is a collection of stories from ten WWII Veterans. Their stories begin with Eisenhowers orders to invade Normandy late at night on June 6, 1944 and end with the liberation of Dachau on April 24, 1945. Of the ten WWII Veterans, two are native South Carolinians while the rest are retirees who have moved to the Beaufort area.
