As a young man, Maajid Nawaz joined and rapidly ascended the ranks of a militant Islamist organization. By age 24, he found himself sentenced to five years in Egyptian prison. Now 33, he travels the world speaking out against the very brand of Islam he once embraced. This talk took place at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum Preview Site on April 28, 2011.
