At Naperville Central High School in suburban Chicagoland interactive whiteboards not chalkboards are the centerpiece of many classrooms. The SMART boards are digital projections connected to a computer where marks made on the projection are visible on the board and on saved in a computer file. But does all this technology actually help kids learn or does it just amount to a novelty?
